How Smooth is Your Ride?

How do you know if you are on the road to burnout? The #1 thing about leadership is to know YOURSELF. This involves self-awareness, self-reflection, self-regulation…and the often ignored self-care. Self-care starts with tiny habits; it requires practice, commitment and changing how we feel about stress. In this session we are going to grant you permission to focus only on yourself and dig deeper into what feeds your soul and how to develop your own healthy strategies for self-care along with a strong sense of your own personal balance. As individuals working in the EHDI system, we need to ensure that we are practicing self-care so that we can be at our best for others. This session will utilize the “Wheel of Life” tool so that participants can see how smooth is their ride.

  • 1. Participants will be able to identify the importance of self-care
  • 2. Participants will be able to use the Wheel of Life tool in evaluating their own life
  • 3. Participants will be able to identify individual areas of improvement needed for self-care
