Abstract: |
Thresholds obtained through an Auditory Brainstem Response (ABR) evaluation are a prediction of peripheral hearing sensitivity. In cases where minimal hearing loss thresholds are obtained via ABR in infants less than 6 months of age, should behavioral testing be completed prior to fitting amplification? This presentation will be a case study format, highlighting ABR results with accompanying behavioral test results, follow-up recommendations, and management strategies for this specific population of patients. |
