Abstract: |
To reduce loss to follow-up rates in rural northern Wisconsin, Wisconsin Sound Beginnings partnered with Marshfield Clinic developing a TeleAudiology program for the evaluation of babies who refer on the newborn hearing screen. Utilization of TeleAudiology allows families to access specialized care in their local communities significantly saving time & resources while improving loss to follow-up. Outcome data of the 15 month pilot project and case studies will be presented along with a videotaped demonstration. Public policy intiatives including reimbursement will be addressed. |
